For more than 30 years, Dr. Peter Hartig, who holds a doctorate in biology, has been pursuing his great passion, the study of algae. From 1979 to 1984 he studied biology at the Ruhr University in Bochum. Already during this time, he was fascinated by the "wonder of nature" algae, which is why he completed his studies in 1985 with a doctoral thesis on microalgae.
